So, I'm done writing short stories. It worked. It took a while, but my writer's block is gone. I had fun writing crap out of my head that was getting in the way, and presenting it on /r/shortscifistories. Now I'm coming back and writing the long form stories that have collected in my head. One of the first ones is called:
